Hi! We're Annie & Tara
We're besties of 25+ years who have been making jewelry for a living together since 2011.
A combined 35 years of jewelry making experience
....and that's if you don't count friendship bracelets in middle school.
Annie started her first jewelry business in 2008, a shop on Etsy called Spiffing Jewelry. With a foundation of beaded and wire-wrapped jewelry, business really took off once she started making hand-stamped, personalized metal pieces.
Annie quit her day job to run Spiffing full time in 2010, and Tara followed to join her a year later.
After a huge amount of success, Spiffing Jewelry was hit with major setbacks when our Etsy shop was shut down without notice in 2017, and we pivoted to focus on Restrained Grace, our wildly successful spicy jewelry & leather gear brand.
Now we're getting back to our roots with Color & Camp, releasing a lot of reimagined pieces we once made for our first store, now in vivid colors we could only dream of when we first got started.
What We're About
Self expression is at the center of pretty much every decision we make. We want to fight the loss of color in the world by making incredibly colorful, fun, and fabulous jewelry and gifts for folks who like to break the mold.
We also believe that there are so many more things to celebrate in life outside of weddings, babies, and purchasing property - so we're also making jewelry, ornaments, shirts, and more to commemorate occasions like: being single & child-free, re-parenting yourself, your divorce being finalized, spending Christmas with your cats, or getting a vasectomy.
